Appleleaf Cottage is a self catering holiday home in Pickering, North Yorkshire. Part of a row of stone cottages built in 1837, the property retains many of its quaint original features including beamed ceilings and fireplaces.
Our cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, double and twin and boasts off street parking.
Within easy walking distance of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and local amenities including shops, cafes and restaurants. It is a great base to visit the coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough or take a trip to the historic city of York or Malton the food capital of Yorkshire. The location also gives an opportunity for cycling in Dalby Forest or walking in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
Self-catering is a welcome alternative to bed and breakfast accommodation or large hotels letting you settle straight away to a cosy home from home.
The price in our cottages includes heating, electricity, WIFI, bedding and towels.
Our cottage is a pet free, non-smoking property.

Pickering is charming small market town packed with popular tourist destinations, independent shops and markets, and historic and natural attractions for you to visit. Our cottage is a short walk into the popular town centre allowing you to take in the local ambience at your own pace.
Sandwiched between the four major Yorkshire towns of Scarborough, Whitby, Helmsley and Malton the town is a brilliant base for a long or short break. Explore the historic city of York, visit the picturesque villages such as Goathland or Grosmont, take a trip to the coast or ride the NYMR on a steam train.
Visit during October for the annual Wartime weekend.
